Loris Karius confesó estar viviendo horas difíciles tras su desafortunada actuación en la final de Champions League con el Liverpool, donde sus intervenciones facilitaron dos de los tres goles del Real Madrid.
Consciente de ser el gran responsable del resultado registrado en Kiev, el portero alemán expresó vía Twitter lo difícil que será lidiar con el peso de haber frustrado la ilusión del equipo inglés.
"No he dormido hasta ahora. Las escenas siguen corriendo por mi cabeza una y otra vez. Estoy infinitamente apenado por mis compañeros de equipo, por los seguidores y por todo el staff... Sé que lo arruiné con los dos errores y arruiné a todos ustedes", escribió.

A lo anterior agregó que "me gustaría volver atrás en el tiempo, pero no es posible. Es aún peor, ya que todos sentimos que podríamos haber vencido al Madrid, estuvimos en el partido durante mucho tiempo".

Por otro lado, reiteró su agradecimiento a los hinchas del Liverpool que tras el partido le han manifestado su respaldo.
"Gracias a nuestros increíbles fans que vinieron a Kiev y me apoyaron, incluso después del partido. No lo doy por sentado y una vez más me mostró la gran familia que somos. Gracias y volveremos más fuertes", dijo.
