NASA: small asteroid to harmlessly impact Earth's atmosphere
The asteroid is, approximately, one meter wide and is expected to fall over Philippines.

A very small asteroid will harmlessly impact Earth's atmosphere on Wednesday, according to NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA).

The asteroid, approximately 1 meter wide, was discovered by NASA and ESA's near-Earth object study teams Wednesday morning.
It is expected to harmlessly impact Earth's atmosphere at 12:40 pm Eastern Time and create a fireball off the east coast of the northern Philippines, according to NASA.
ESA said the asteroid will strike Earth's atmosphere over the Philippines near Luzon Island.
