Un hombre de 26 años trató de secuestrar a una niña en un centro comercial de Virginia, Estados Unidos, reportaron medios locales, lo cual fue capturado por las cámaras de seguridad del recinto.
El hecho, viralizado los últimos días, ocurrió la mañana del pasado 18 de julio en el área de juego del Fair Oaks Mall.
Según recogió NBC Washington, el padre de la menor de edad estaba jugando con su hermano en la zona, y no se dio cuenta de que la pequeña se había salido de la misma.
Solo 22 segundos pasaron desde que la niña se alejó del área de juegos cuando el hombre, identificado como Andrés Cáceres Jaldin, la tomó en brazos y se la llevó.
El citado medio reveló que la madre justo estaba en una tienda a la que el sospechoso entró con su hija, por lo que lo confrontó, él se la entregó y luego se escapó. Cáceres, quien finalmente fue detenido, habría asegurado que estaba tratando de ayudar a la niña a encontrar a sus padres.
Cabe mencionar que el sujeto enfrentará cargos por secuestro de un menor y por hurto de un auto que robó esa misma mañana.
