Es el momento de "Game of Thrones".
La serie creada por George R.R. Martin y emitida con gran éxito de crítica y público por HBO lideró las nominaciones de los premios Emmy 2014, cuyos candidatos se conocieron este jueves.
Con 19 candidaturas, la historia de las pugnas de poder en los Siete Reinos deberá competir por el título de mejor serie dramática con otros gigantes de la industria televisiva estadounidense como la ya concluida "Breaking Bad", "Downton Abbey", "House of Cards", "Mad Men" y "True Detective".
En el apartado de los actores, Bryan Cranston ("Breaking Bad"), buscará ganar de nuevo el premio al mejor actor principal de una serie dramática en una dura competencia con Jeff Daniels ("The Newsroom"), Jon Hamm ("Mad Men"), Woody Harrelson ("True Detective"), Matthew McConaughey ("True Detective") y Kevin Spacey ("House of Cards").
Además, en esta oportunidad también fueron nominados a la categoría de mejor actor y actriz de reparto Aaron Paul (Jesee Pinkman) y Anna Gunn (Skyler White), también de "Breaking Bad".
La comedia es otra de las categorías más disputadas y esta vez, por quinta vez consecutiva, "Modern Family" fue nominada al premio que ya ha recibido en tres oportunidades.
Junto a la serie protagonizada por Sofía Vergara están "The Big Bang Theory", "Louie", "Orange is the New Black", "Silicon Valley" y "Veep".
