¡Emocionante historia! La Roca explica cuál es la mejor parte de la fama

Dwayne Johnson, más conocido como "La Roca", siempre nos sorprende con historias emotivas y la de este martes puede sacar más de alguna lágrima.

"Siempre me preguntan '¿cuál es la mejor parte de la fama?'. Acá hay una historia puede responder a eso", dice la última foto cargada en el Instagram del actor y luchador.

Johnson cuenta que al terminar las grabaciones de su serie de televisión "Ballers", le pidieron tomarse algunas fotos con unos policías que custodiaban el lugar, algo a lo que accedió y que hizo que pudieran compartir un momento de conversación. Sin embargo el agente que le pidió que charlara con los oficiales le dijo que uno de ellos tenía una particular historia que contarle.

"Escuché que tiene una historia para mí", dijo la Roca al oficial Arias, quien le contó algo que emocionó al actor de "Rápidos y Furiosos".

"Me contó que en 2008, cuando yo llevaba a mi madre a su quimioterapia y radiación semanal para su tratamiento contra el cáncer, él llevaba a su padre Jesús Arias al mismo tiempo, quien había sido diagnosticado con el mismo cáncer de mi madre", relató el actor en la publicación.

Johnson afirma que el policía le explicó esto y le dijo: "Tú no recordarás, pero caminamos por el hospital al mismo tiempo y te volteaste, sonreíste y sostuviste la puerta para mi padre... y no tienes idea lo que significó ese momento para él. Y para mí".

"El oficial Arias me contó que esperó años para poder decirme que ese día, después de que le di la mano a su padre y le dije que se mantuviera fuerte, su padre no sintió dolor. Y fue nuevamente un hombre feliz y sin dolor. Aunque solo fuera por un día. Jesús Arias murió de cáncer luego ese año, pero su vida e historia continúan contándose", agregó La Roca.

Last week on our last day of shooting #ballers, my security came over and said "There's a few officers who've worked for us all day and would love the chance to meet you. One of them has a personal story to tell you." I said I'd love to meet them and walked over to say hello. I shook hands with both men, took pictures and they graciously said goodbye. As I was walking away, I realized I didn't get the personal story. So I called back to one of the officers and said "I heard you had a sorry for me?" He was surprised and turned around and called for him and said "Sure Mr. Johnson". He told me in 2008 when I was taking my mom to get her weekly chemotherapy and radiation cancer treatments, he was taking his dad, Jesus Arias at the same time - who had been diagnosed with the same cancer as my mom. He said, "You won't remember this but we walked into the hospital at the same time and you turned around, smiled and held the door open for my dad... and you have no idea what that moment meant to him. And me." Officer Arias shared with me that he'd been waiting years to tell me that on that day, after I shook his dad's hand and told him to stay strong, that his dad felt no pain that day. And was once again was a happy man and pain free. Even if just for one day. Jesus Arias passed away from cancer later that year, but his life continues to tell an inspiring story. I'm always asked "What's the best part of fame?" Hands down, it's moments like this. Y'all take care of each other and your families.
